What are Credit Union Shared Service Centers?
 

Credit Unions have joined together to create shared service centers around the country. There are over 1200 credit unions participating in this shared service network with access for millions of members.
 

There are over 3400 service centers around the country  where a variety of transactions can be performed. A shared service center will allow a participating credit union member to conduct multiple transactions just as if it were their own credit union branch. By sharing facilities, credit unions can offer greater convenience and access to member accounts than ever before. Services include nationwide access and extended hours at many locations.

Important Reminder:   As an ECU Member, to conduct a transaction at a Shared Service Center please provide the following information:

• Name of Credit Union:  ECU Credit Union

• Member/Account Number:  Please use the member number on your ECU CU statement; your member number is not your Social Security number and may not be the number printed on your checks

• Proper Identification:  Must be a valid state or government issued photo ID, for example, Driver's Licenses or Passport

ECU members should be able to complete the following transactions at service center outlets nationwide
(services may vary by service center):

Cash Deposits: Any amount accepted.

Check Deposits: Host credit union may apply a hold.

Cash Withdrawals: A daily aggregate cash limit of $1,500 has been established for cash withdrawals, check cashing, cash back on deposits, and money orders

Check Withdrawals: Amounts over $5,000 may require prior approval from host credit union.

• Personal checks may only be accepted for deposit.
• Host credit union must be online for transactions to be accepted.

Additional Services:
Statement Prints, Official Checks, Loan Payments, Transfers.

*A valid account number and proper identification must be provided.
