Switch Kit Check List   

 

 

Thank you for choosing ECU Credit Union.   The Switch Kit is a free tool that allows you to quickly and easily change your accounts from one financial institution to ECU Credit Union.  Here is a checklist to help you through each step of this process.  By filling out a series of forms, the Switch Kit provides all the documentation that is needed to complete the process.

What you need to get started:  

For security, we do not allow you to save the application process in the middle, so please make sure you have all the appropriate information up front.  You will need the following information; your new ECU Credit Union member number, previous financial institution's information, any direct deposit information or electronic payments.  Complete the  Switch Kit Checklist to ensure that you have all the required information.

If you do not have an ECU Credit Union account you will need to open at least your membership account before switching.  To do this, please click here or contact us at 800.382.2400 so that we can mail you an application.

Destroy:

Make sure you leave a sufficient amount of money in your old account to cover any outstanding items.  This process may take several weeks.   Please do not write any more checks on your old account to prevent insufficient check fees.   Ensure that all automatic credits and debits are switched before closing your old accounts.
