Here’s how to get started:

• STEP 1 – Become an ECU Credit Union Member

To open your membership, click here.

• STEP 2 – Combine a list of the following items.

For a checklist to help you through each step of this process, click here.

• A list of your previous accounts you wish to close at other financial institutions.
• A list of any direct deposits.
• A list of any electronic payments, bill pay payments, and/or debit card payments

• STEP 3 -Use our  Switch Kit to create the forms needed to switch deposits, payments, or withdrawals from your old account or to close your old account,
