At ECU we take the stress out of choosing which checking account is best for you by offering one checking account that automatically changes as your financial needs change. If your average daily balance is over $5,000 your will earn 0.10% annual yield; if you are an Elite Relationship member you will receive a 0.25% bump in the dividend rate and earn 0.35% when your average daily balance is over $5,000.00.
An ECU checking account is accessible and convenient; you can access your account at one of our3 branch locations or one of the over 4,400 Credit Union Shared Branch locations. If you prefer more automated online services you may also access your account through our Debit Card network, Internet banking, E Z Access, and Mobile Banking; Pay your bills online and store up to 6 months of statements with internet banking and e statements. Save time using direct deposit and have the flexibility of redirecting your direct deposit with payroll deduction.
- Dividends are paid monthly if your average daily balance is over $5,000; see current rates.
- Required opening deposit of $25.00; and minimum balance requirement of $25.00. See fee schedule.
- Monthly statements. You may sign up for e statements through Virtual Branch or you will receive a paper statement in the mail.
- Unlimited withdrawals by checks, Debit Card, in person, or through Virtual Branch or E Z Access.
- Overdraft protection using share / savings account.
